Fantastic lamp change. Brighter than OEM.

Excellent lamp replacement. I guess I never noticed my bulbs slowly dimming over the years until I found it almost impossible to see beyond 15-20 feet when driving at night on poorly lit roads, which is a major safety issue. With the Philips 9006 XVB2 X-tremeVision headlights, I can now see several hundred meters without any problems. These bulbs are so bright that some drivers leave their high beams on. I have done a lot of research to find the best and brightest light bulbs (including HID and

Not Suitable: Headlight Bulbs

I ordered the same two packs of these bulbs as the last time I bought from Revain. Same brand, same part number, looks the same but this kit does not fit my 2004 Honda Civic. Each lamp had the same part number as the old lamps. The plug is ideal when the light bulb is not installed in the housing. When I installed the bulb it was very difficult to lock it in place. When I tried to insert the connector there was interference preventing it from locking into place. I had to put the old bulbs back…

Had them in my old truck and loved them. Took them for a newer newer

There were such in my old truck and I liked them. Took them for a newer one and I like them too. They give a little more light. A slightly whiter color is fine, but nothing like a blue tinted lamp. I didn't want a tinted bulb anyway because I needed an outlet. You're losing power with tinted bulbs - any shade, no matter what you're told. It is great. They have a shorter life than a standard bulb but my old pair in another truck lasted over a year. If you want a legal and bright light, use these

Work well. hope they hold up. (Update 2/2020)

Installed on my Buick. On a flat, straight road, they light a stop sign at over 1,600 feet. Four times as far as it takes me to stop at 70mph. Not white, but does not blind oncoming traffic. The next problem is durability. Let's see how long these last. The answer to that last question is that I just bought my second set. Both bulbs burned out at about the same time after about 2 1/2 years. Not bad considering they are also this car's daytime running lights and stay on all the time. Still very…

99% of 99% for Incandescent Bulbs

The intent "brighter" does not mean "bluer" or "whiter". Just because they are blue at the tip of a refractor does not change color. Too much confusion with the color, the higher it is, the brighter it doesn't get. You want under 4400K or less (yellow) to get through the fog. These fog lights are rated for 4300K. You'll thank yourself when you can see the road on a stormy day when you read true reviews from real people. 4800k-5000k is stock white. From 6000 to 8000 K - blue. I'm still not sure…

Noticeable (but not overwhelming) improvement costs money

The increasing use of HID and LED headlights is leaving those of us who use halogen bulbs feeling left behind in the dark ages. These bulbs are noticeably brighter than the "stock" bulbs on our 2004 Sienna, but probably not at the high end of what the description implies. I relied on regular polishing of the headlight lenses to maintain visibility and installing these bulbs helped improve it. Installation was easy, and the multicolored low beam and high beam wiring harnesses made it solid. Due…

They fit 2004 Honda Accord.

One of my original lightbulbs died after 13 years(!) and I needed a replacement. After some research on the internet I decided on this one because of 1) good reviews and 2) PREMIER shipping. They fit my 2004 Honda Accord. They are lighter than the original ones that came with the car but I'm not sure if they really matter. They work, and that's enough for now. I hope they last as long as the ones that came with the car. Do a YouTube search to learn how to change the lightbulbs on the Accord…
