I have been a long time user of Philosophy's Amazing Grace products and would recommend them to anyone who is sensitive to odors and/or dislikes strong smelling products. This is a lightly scented body gel/shampoo (effective!) that does its job well and leaves a pleasant smell even in the bathroom. If used as a shampoo I would recommend using it alongside the conditioner. I've found that my hair seems drier when using this product, but that could also be due to the weather (I live in…

Smells SO good

I use Philosophy products and love Amazing Grace. It lathers nicely and smells better than good, clean. And this has never happened to me with a bath product, but it made me itchy. I don't mean quietly reticent, I mean like skinning my shins. The process of elimination led me to believe that this was the product. I took this out of my shower and after a few days the itching wasn't gone. I love philosophy and especially Amazing Grace. I still use this fragrance, I just can't stand this…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

It used to ALWAYS be an amazing scent. Everyone noticed its light aroma and distinctive smell, and I ALWAYS received compliments, both from colleagues and classmates. Unfortunately things went downhill after Coty took over the product line from Christina. There is no characteristic odor even when products (lotion, spray, perfume, etc.) are applied. No one can justify the price for a scent that lasts as long as a shower - RETURN THE ORIGINAL FORMULA. Incidentally, Coty denies the product is…

Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo

Philosophy Amazing Grace shampoo, bath and shower gel is one of my favorite Philosophy fragrances. It's clean and refreshing and I love that it has a wonderfully light scent that I remembered when I first tried this product. I was concerned this would be different based on some of the reviews I read. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase and look forward to purchasing more items from the Amazing Grace line.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Leaves no odor on the skin

This fragrance is short-lived. I use lotion and perfume (which work together) but not shower gel. And do not use this in your hair under any circumstances. It'll pull your hair out and make you frizzy like Perth or some crap. As a body wash, it smells divine in the shower, but after you rinse it off, your skin won't smell at all. So there is no point in paying so much for a shower gel that only smells in the shower. Also, it dries. Now I only use it to hand wash delicate fabrics as it only…

I get a lot of compliments

I feel like I can't breathe when I walk into a soap island in a shop or approach a person with strong perfume. This product in perfume or soap form has a mild, clean scent and is gentle on the skin. I use it on both body and hair and it doesn't dry out either. I work in a hospital and cannot use strong perfumes as they can cause reactions in people with COPD. My colleagues and patients compliment me on how nice I smell when I'm around and in their personal space. People with COPD tell me they…

but Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo

I rarely write a 5 star review but Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel definitely deserves this review. I find it elegant, soft and soothing. It calms my skin and me. About a year ago my daughter gave me the Amazing Grace Body Cream. I liked it so much that I bought several as gifts for very special people. It seemed obvious that shower gel would be just as good, but honestly I find shower gel even better. You can't go wrong if you try.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • May cause injury
