Great daily moisturizer!

Like most moisturizers, they really are hope in a jar until you open it. My middle-aged skin is normal; not too dry and not greasy and I really like the lightness of this moisturizer. It doesn't make my face break out (nothing worse than a 50 year old woman looking like she's approaching puberty) and it doesn't feel oily. This is not a wrinkle remover but I find my crow's feet and other signs of aging are less noticeable when using this moisturizer. My only wish is for Philosophy to make a…

Excellent humidifier

Incredible humidifier! It's just as good as some of the Elemis moisturizers I use, or the Tatcha Dewy skin cream I use, or any of the Sunday Riley skin creams I use. It's just that different creams have different purposes. I use this cream along with the Vitamin C Suspension Cream throughout the day and along with my SPF. Sometimes I use it in combination with my skin night cream. Feels great on the skin. It spreads easily, absorbs and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Great for solo use.

Great for all skin types

This is a great moisturizer and I'm sure it saved my skin. I have combination skin that can be picky about what I wear, but this makes my skin happy. It's not heavy and smells really good. I've used many different drugstore and expensive skin care products and they don't come close to this one. The price at Revain is much better than other places.

Good product that works on my sensitive skin

In my 50's I found I needed more moisturizer than I had not long ago. This moisturizer is thinner than I expected but surprisingly it works. During dry winters I sometimes have to apply another moisturizer to drier areas of my face, but the rest of the year it works great. My skin looks more radiant and healthier.

Seems to be a completely different formula.

I have been using this lotion for many years. I usually buy it from Ulta, but this summer I bought it from Revain with no problems. He looks different this time. It feels oilier and has caused small bumps on my forehead and a very greasy look on my face. I missed the opportunity to return it because until recently I didn't understand what was the reason because I've been without it for almost a week and the dents have diminished. As soon as I restarted it, they came back. Seems to be a…

Really great moisturizer

I have very sensitive skin and have never been able to get rid of acne. My skin is dry too, so if I don't moisturize it it looks oily because it overcompensates. This moisturizer is perfect for me because my skin is clearer since I've been using it and it doesn't over hydrate my skin making me look greasy or oily. And just a little goes a long way, so while it seems expensive, I actually buy less of this type than other cheaper brands I've tried because it lasts longer in the packaging.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Useless features

The ultimate skin care line for smooth, even, refined skin.

Fantastic discount on my favorite skincare product. Almost 50% off the regular list price. Hope in a Jar has been helping me achieve clear, even and smooth skin for many years. Combined with Clarisonic and Hope in a Jar Night Cream and Hope in a Jar Eye Cream, my 33 year old skin looks like a 17 year old. Definitely worth the regular full price of around $61. But very good value at around $38 on Revain (when I bought it). I've used La Mer, La Prairie, Chanel, and Clinique to try other products…
