Great for adding a little accent light in a room under cupboards etc but I wouldn't recommend them as a main light, they look harsh but are pretty boring at the same time. White light emits strongly in the ultraviolet part of the spectrum and causes mild eye irritation, so it's not very good. But for parties or small accent lighting, these lights are a pretty good choice.

What a disappointment. My daughter put these in her room, they were really cool and may have held up too well as I'm sure they'll ruin the wall/ceiling they're taped to. Without complaining about it, I found out as soon as I tried them. But within a week of the return window, they stopped working properly. So now we're sticking with them (literally). She is very disappointed that she spent her hard earned money on this.

The light in the theater is excellent. Against a white background, they perfectly illuminate the entire room without using harsh home lighting. While watching a movie, we set a dimmed yellow light so we can still see if we need to get up for something. The bald spot in the video is actually the surround speaker blocking the light. My boys wanted to hang these lights on the edge of the ceiling in their playroom. They are pretty easy to install, just peel off the backing and they stick. Have had them for about 2 months and so far so good. We needed a bit more length to go through the whole room, so we bought another set and connector, watched YouTube videos on how to connect them, and put them together. I bought these because they were reasonably priced and the length I wanted. They barely made it past my double bed and create a cool effect while I sleep. I'll be honest too, although I'm perfectly happy with this product, the power adapter that came with it died within a couple of months. However, I contacted warranty service and even though I just wanted a new power supply, they sent a brand new kit. Thank you Fopollo! 1 started initially but the company did the right thing and sent me 2 brand new devices that work great but sometimes Bluetooth still doesn't work. 3 stars for customer service and product. Easy to install. Terrible service. I ordered two fairy lights. Bluetooth on one does not connect to the app. The other set of lights didn't come on. You were properly connected. I assured customer service that I did. These clowns wanted video and photo evidence. I said I would just send those horrible things
