Disappointing Diffusion Modifier for Lighting

Based on our own experience, this product was a major letdown. While the diffusion did slightly soften our lighting, it caused a significant loss of brightness. The product was also poorly made and did not support the electronics necessary for advanced photography. We would not recommend this modifier and suggest investing in a higher-quality option.

Pros
  • Provides slight diffusion
Cons
  • Loss of brightness, poor quality for electronics

Good stuff: Soft boxes

I wanted to cut this fabric and make diffuser fabrics for a new set of LED bulbs. It's a good material and works as expected - just clip it to your curtains and it's instant. Then cut out so I can layer multiple layers on top of each other to create a diffused effect that is different from simply dimming the light.

Pros
  • 14.7x4.92ft/4.5x1.5m for do-it-yourself diffuser fabric
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Pros
  • Softboxes
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
