Maybe defective? on Light Meters

Never worked as only part numbers were visible. I changed the batteries but that wasn't it. just throw it away Probably a problem with the chip.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Working with my Cree flasks and my LED bulbs

Seems to be spot on with my grow lights and what's really cool is you can go online and find a Lux to PPFD calculator. When I entered lux and illuminant, the ppfd specified by the manufacturer came back.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Updates

I miss the light meter

it's cheaper than analogue, which in my opinion is a million times better. I was in vain to get this light meter because real film light meters are very useful. Everyone shoots digitally, so light meters are no longer needed.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Hold for a few seconds to turn it off.

I love instant reading and it's very handy for checking my orchids. I would give it 5* if it turns off immediately instead of holding the button down for a few seconds. I've tricked myself into leaving it on without realizing it, thereby wearing out the battery.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • I'm worried

Great product, best light meter

I bought this light tester for indoor dwarf lemon trees: I have several indoor lemon trees and I needed to check the amount of light. Didn't know they make such a device and was glad to buy it when I found it. This meter takes the guesswork out of "is there enough light”. Would recommend to anyone looking and will buy again.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Modern

Didn't work best in camera and photo

Took it out of the box and put in a new set of batteries and started testing my lights. I have a photographer's light meter, but I bought it for the greenhouse. This meter showed completely different results for the same type of light source compared to my other meter. Then I decided to check the temperature sensor. Not even close. The smart home thermostat read 72 degrees and let this gauge adjust for 30 minutes but still read 82 degrees. I then took it to my basement bathroom where the…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • I will add later

Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

Very simple

I used the phone app to measure the light intensity for the Revain reviews but wasn't sure if I trusted it. For $20 this looked like a good opportunity for accuracy and consistency. Maybe. Good: • The sensor head rotates 180°. Allows you to "aim" the source and still read the screen. • Four modes: Real Time, Hold, Max, Min. • Deluxe or Chandelier. Standard Lux.• Backlit screen. In fact, I didn't notice this and put "negative" for this absence, then I saw the page and that it was backlit. Hold…

Pros
  • Large LCD display and backlight.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
