Love Bitbucket Server - great platform

I like that it comes with out of box support for things like Laravel, Symfony, etc., along with having other third party integrations available as well (Jenkins is one). It can be intimidating at first to set up if you are not familiar but there's help documentation online for most everything you need. The plugin system has some growing pains. There was an issue where certain plugins were incompatible which caused problems. It had something to do with versioning compatibility. They've since…

Pros
  • Easy integration
  • Multiple supported platforms
  • Flexibility we don't necessarily use all aspects everyday so easy transition back from PHP5.
  • Excellent interfaceIt does require knowledge about how code works within XAMPP environment however once learned then its simple enough! :)
Cons
  • Slow startup time
  • Can sometimes take long period before restart server due waiting around loading modules.
  • Occasional error messages

Reviewing PHP code using PhpCiTST: PHPCI

I like that it is very user friendly, has all of my tools needed to run our test suite in one place; plus some additional ones! It's not easy at first but once you get used to how everything works together there aren't many problems with this tool as far as functionality goes. We use phpcitest internally so we can easily see what tests are failing or passing without having multiple web pages showing us different things from other CI systems which makes managing builds easier since they're…

Pros
  • The ability for users who don’t know about testing software/CI system etc.
  • Ease of setup
  • Very clear instructions provided by their support staff when trying out new features such adding custom code snippets through phpstorm IDE
Cons
  • Some little things

Easy to set up, great tool to have on your project!

I like that it's built in to Netbeans, so you don't have any setup needed at all! It also comes with its own test suite which is nice because most CI tools these days require something more than just your standard build script when getting started - they want some kind of database or other configuration set up as well (which can be done but not always very easily). This has been incredibly helpful given our development environment here changes frequently; we need an easy way keep track if…

Pros
  • The fact there isn’t much required for setting this system wide aside from installing PHPUnit via Composer..and then running composer update once everything else was installed already within my project folder structure.
  • The ease by how quickly one could get going building projects through PhpStorm IDE itself instead needing separate install
