Heavy Duty Wiper Blade Material

I cut this wiper shorter (12") to match the rear wiper on a 2019 Corolla hatchback. Works very well. I slightly filed the end stops (1.5mm) on the plastic frame to make installation easier.

Durable, weather resistant, easy to install, durable and affordable.

I have been using PIAA silicone wipers for many years. The only reason I had to buy new ones is because I was replacing my cars. My VW had the same PIAA silicone wipers for 6 years and they worked fine all along. I think the person who bought it still has the same wipers I installed.

Unnecessarily difficult to fit into a standard wiper frame

This is definitely a quality wiper that will last much longer than traditional squeegees. However, the channel is blocked on one side, which makes it difficult to transition to a normal frame. I'm assuming this is only meant to work with PIAA brand frames, but other than that lock it works with standard frames.

Great quality, you can't lose the choice.

Great replacement, PIAA wipers always top quality. A few things to note: This is a directional load, there is no loading on one side. In addition, the metal tie rods are very stiff. So if you have a very curved rear window, you can take it out and pre-shape it a bit. I used this on a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 hatchback with an extremely curved rear window. Note that some of these blades will not stand up to the advertised manufacturer.

However, the design failed and now I can only credit 1 of the 2 sheets. I hope that the manufacturer will contact me and help in this matter. 6mm wide but wider than other brands

These wipers are said to be 6mm wide but are slightly wider than standard 6mm brushes. So in some applications they fit exactly. PIAA warns you about this on their website, but it would be better if PIAA just brought them down to the standard 6mm width and avoided the hassle. Overall I love PIAA silicone blades and have been using them for years. They last forever and clean better than other brands of wiper blades.
