💦 Piaa Si-Tech 28-inch (700mm) Silicone Wiper Blade Review

As soon as the factory wipers wear out, I always order a set of PIAA silicone wipers, despite the high price. They last way longer than anything else and the silicone treatment really improves visibility. Raindrops are simply caught and wiped away without streaks or distortion. Until something better comes along, that's all we use on all of our vehicles.

I have replaced my wipers every year and bought this one hoping it would last longer than other cheap wipers. The quality is good but the only problem is that it's very difficult to install - I almost broke the wiper arms during installation but ended up not being able to fit perfectly. Now it only fits halfway. The instructions say to push the blade down until you hear a click. So I pushed really hard and almost broke the wiper arm, but I didn't hear a click.

The instructions are pretty useless and even list the wrong adapter for my style arm. It arrived scattered from a parcel in a large box that had a wipe in it, but what I needed was there. It comes with an adapter for my Tesla's wiper arm, but like many wipers I've seen before, it doesn't fit the car. As a result, the hand sits high due to the high adapter and prevents the blade from turning. This causes the blade to skip the entire area along the napkin.

So here's the thing: you need to read and follow the instructions to make these things work. To do this, wipe the windshield with the alcohol wipe provided, then allow the wipers to dry for five minutes. If you don't, they won't work and it's not their fault. These blades hold up really well. I bought these after my old wiper blades started cracking and cracking. I haven't had any streaks since purchasing them and as you would expect they do an excellent job of removing water. Installation was a little painful, but nothing special. This is my second one in about 3 months. My first decided to take off while driving on the interstate. This has never happened in my life. Revane was kind enough to help us with this. And after a few months, the blade detaches from the adapter. In all my years as a driver I have never experienced anything like this with the windshield wipers. I received this blade after rain was forecast for the second day so I am very happy to use it. Everything was good and I'm happy, but the next day it's still raining and after a few hits the sign on the passenger side just came off and luckily I stopped at a traffic light. It didn't fly away!
