50 lb Picture Hangers: Set of 20 Supports up to 50 Pounds (Includes 20 Hangers & 20 Nails) Review

Nothing on the hanger indicates that it can hold an item weighing up to 50 pounds. How did you all make sure you got the right hanger?

I use this for Ikea picture frames which are not the best picture frames. These work fine. I haven't tested them for weight under load, but I think a 50lb weight is only likely when nailed to the studs. For most images, the weight isn't that great, so it shouldn't matter.

These hangars are great, you can easily hang a 30lb clock on the wall. the same guy I hung a clock on in another house 20 years ago and it hung flawlessly for 20 years.

We use hundreds of hooks in our gallery in Alaska. Sometimes we need a hanger with a strong nail, sometimes we need a thick steel hanger so it won't break under the weight, sometimes we need a hanger with a deep hook so the picture won't fall off on impact or during an earthquake. They meet all of these criteria and are a lot cheaper than buying them from a craft store. Good hooks!

These guys are real. They were perfect for the very large frame I had to assemble, but I think most people want 15-25lb of travel. These temples are too big for normal frames and you will see the temple on the side. They should only be used for large heavy art pieces, I think 20x30 or more depending on the frame and what you are hanging. But in the end, they do exactly what they say. I would buy again.
