The first problem with this set is the tube they come in. The top doesn't fit well enough to put on and take off. Once you take it off and put it back on, it slips into the tube and you can't pull it out. The needles are so sharp that they will prick you during use. When threading the rubber band onto the needle, the inside of the needle cuts through the jewelry rubber. I've used other needles and they don't do it. I would not recommend them

This was a really good buy for two reasons: first, the strength of the needles; exactly what I wanted and the second was "packaging". The tube was sort of a "gift" as it's a great storage space. The "thimble" at the top and the "little magnet" on the thimble just show you that SOME sellers are genuinely trying to please their customers! I will buy it again and buy from the seller if I can. These needles are great needles for loom work, which is my main style of beadwork. They are nice and thin and can easily be passed through each row of beads multiple times. Sometimes people complain that such needles are too flexible, but that's because they try to force things. The key to beadwork is to hold the needle very lightly and not poke through the beads.
