They don't cut like butter. You have to push them through your hair, which has resulted in all sorts of split ends. I could have been spoiled by my feathered razor, but they did nothing but damage.

I have long hair and every time I go to the salon it gets severely cut. I did a do-it-yourself experiment with these sections on my hair, starting at the bottom and then slowly running the comb through my hair to see where the ends needed to be trimmed. I'm very happy with the results, it removed some bulk and dead ends without killing any of my lengths. I plan to do it again in the next few months. I want to grow my hair very, very long and it saved me from a bad visit to the salon.

Barber's Perspective: If you've ever preferred to use clippers because they removed less hair, or used a razor instead of a comb when blending blends, then this is worth trying. I can't say I guarantee you'll love it because it's different than using a hair clipper and has a very niche usability in my opinion, unless you're cutting your hair in prison, but if you need to what this setup can do it's amazing to have it. If COVID-19 really hits (first time) the place where I get my hair cut will be closed. I like the razor cut because my hair is very fine and the razor cut makes it look fuller. I bought them to use for myself. I figured even if I did a really bad job it would grow. And I'm 69, so what's the difference?! I'm MUCH better and I don't have to pay more for a haircut because of these razor combs - I'm saving 35.00 every month!

Good product except for the blades that come with it. The included blades are not sharp. They stick and pull at the hair. I installed a pair of premium double edged blades and the razor comb worked great.
