Pieces Tribal Vintage Assorted Patches Review

1- Apparently the size is listed differently in two different places. They are not big enough to cover two single beds. They are approximately 92 x 52 inches, NOT 92 x 80 (listed size as of August 13, 2021). This is a very noticeable discrepancy. 2- They have stains, tears and/or sewn patches on each. Everyone. one. Including some spots that disturbingly resemble blood. 3- Most of them are mainly made of yellow, red and/or orange sari fabric. It's ok if those are the colors you want. However…

I was delighted to order these blankets. I love colors, textiles and natural fabrics. However, the set I received is fine. Some pieces are more interesting than others, but nothing spectacular. I was hoping to use them as bedspreads but I find they are not light enough to brighten up a bed and also too small for a queen size bed unless you sew two of them together. They are better than I expected. Based on the reviews I was concerned they would be thin and frayed, but they are about the thickness of a light blanket or picnic blanket. They're not see-through, so they can make good curtains too. Other reviewers noted the smell; The blankets I received had a slight odor (a bit musty, like a bedspread in a hotel room that needs airing) so I washed them in cold water on the gentle cycle.
