Review on Pieces Tribal Vintage Assorted Patches by Len Cooper

I was delighted to order these blankets. I love colors, textiles and natural fabrics. However, the set I received is fine. Some pieces are more interesting than others, but nothing spectacular. I was hoping to use them as bedspreads but I find they are not light enough to brighten up a bed and also too small for a queen size bed unless you sew two of them together. Too little contrast, washed-out earth tones, mostly red/magenta, some warm yellow tones, off-whites, one with a blue pattern and one with green. Nice to use on a porch, in a solarium, in a hammock or in a very simple setting. I've been to India and these are far from the best examples of textiles. On the plus side, they have a soft, clean feel and a homey smell. So if you like a cheaper, more boring look or have a lot of grays and browns in your decor these are great. If your space is bright and colorful, they may look drab and sad. If I were to order them again I would go to a different seller and really read the reviews.
