This car is TERRIBLE! THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH BROTHER SEWING MACHINES BUT WITH AMAZON SERVICES. The sewing machine had sewing and clamping problems right out of the box. We adjusted the tension a few times over the course of a month and at 1/2 I owned this machine. 09/25/2019 (bought 08/12/2019) finally stopped working, lower thread was not transported. For several days, my husband and I tried to solve the problem. Eventually we borrowed a bobbin case from our friend across the street and the…

City Dad Approved: Great Machine for Beginners

I have never used a sewing machine in my life until I bought this. For comparison: I am 42 years old and the father of two children. When I told my wife I was going to buy a sewing machine, she looked at me like I was crazy. Which, to be honest, may be totally true, but I don't regret this purchase. Brother xm2701 is a good machine for the price

I bought this machine because I needed a light weight machine for working with rag rugs. I read many reviews and decided on this device. I decided to make a pillow case on it for the first project. I always use a 1/4" seam allowance with the 1/4" foot, which this machine doesn't have, so I moved the needle all the way to the right and with the foot I was able to get a meager 1/4", so I was happy with it. I know a lot of people have said the light isn't bright enough, but I think that's normal…
