these shoes are the best driving shoes i have ever worn. The skin is soft and supple while providing comfort and support. Because of their construction, you feel the accelerator pedal as much as the surface you walk on. I liked the first pair I bought so much that I immediately ordered another pair in a different color. You get what you pay for and these shoes are of the highest quality.

I've only worn them a few times and the socks are already falling apart. (See photo.) The skin is so thin that the toes have worn down to the point where one shoe has a hole in it and the other looks like it's about to tear. I own their sandals, shoes and many other very high end shoes like Prada, Ferragamo, Gucci, Zanotti etc. Pikolinos are great for simple everyday wear and business wear. I don't wear them every day because in the past I've stretched and worn them pretty quickly, at least with their sandals. Before that there was a pair of picolinos which wore out after about a year. I've been wearing them for 5 months and the stitching on the outer front corners are frayed. If the thread is pulled harder, the front sole will detach and hang down. My biggest fear is that they won't stay new forever. And then I appreciate the worn look. Time will tell how they hold up, but I'm thrilled with them. I like the feel. Instead of walking on a 2 inch pad, you feel like your foot is actually touching the ground or floor surface. I feel much safer in them. But I'm older (74) and the close contact with the ground helps with balance. Also, people love the look of these shoes!

I love these shoes! I got way more compliments on her than my super rich Cole Haan. They fit your feet like a glove. Remember these are moccasins for drivers. You won't have a ton of cushion or arch support, neither rider will. They look like sandals. This is my first pair of Pikolinos and I was very impressed with their appearance. They feel well built but only time will tell. I had the Johnston Murphy driver's moccasins and the Cole Haan driver's moccasins. I like these better.
