It feels very comfortable, but has some disadvantages.

Worked well, but there are a few downsides. The body of the knife feels heavy in the hand, which makes it comfortable. It's thicker than a ballpoint pen and thicker than a standard marker. The chewing gum also makes it comfortable to hold. The two downsides I see are that when you change the blade there is a small flat steel spring inside that you insert the blade into. When I first removed the collet, it fell out. You don't have to completely unscrew the collet to change blades, so I won't go…

Great knife but with a loose lid that can be repaired.

I've been using hobby knives like this for years to make balsa models. This one is better than most due to the larger diameter handle and rubber grip. It also seems that the blade doesn't come out as easily during use as most when unscrewed. The only problem is the loose lid that falls off easily. In one of the reviews there is a video of how this happens. However, I have found that this can be largely remedied by taping off the connector area of the cover to close the gap in the connector…

Best for hard work

First whoever should be on QC slept. The knife didn't rotate, it had metal burs. The mold on the rubber grip is even slightly burned in. I completely disassembled it, filed it, cut the rubber and put it back together. NOW it works properly. I don't mind messing around with things, but I don't have to. The first thing I noticed was that it's quite difficult. Like an iron bar. If I was cutting thick cardboard or vinyl this knife would be great, but for model makers like me it's a distraction for…

Fastest fragile item I've ever bought

The knife has a decent collet to hold the blade. I've owned dozens of craft knives in my life and this is the most innovative idea I've ever seen. This gives the blade much more support and rigidity without the blade twisting. Too bad they made a source out of garbage. The blade wasn't tight so I twisted it to tighten it and felt it snap. The little black dress in the photo is the feather. Or rather, part of the spring that's broken. Now he will not hold the blade. I suspect the same thing…

Excellent craft/precision knife. Highly recommended.

I really like this knife. I ended up buying 2 more in case they stop making them. Love the orange grip, the color is great and it's soft enough to be really comfortable and grippy without being too gel-like. It's thicker than a normal utility knife, so it's a bit stronger and has a good grip. It accepts all of the standard crafting blades I've tried. I saw another reviewer complain about not holding the blade haha. I will say that the blade goes a certain way in the x mount. It's easy enough to

Perfect hobby knife if it doesn't roll off the table that easily

I can honestly say that this knife feels great in the hand, it has perfect weight distribution, gives great feedback when cutting on polystyrene plastic (Evergreen records). It can work with almost any blade, from Olfa to X-Acto, the collet is available in 2 different gauges. Just make sure you don't unscrew the chuck all the way every time you need to change a blade. The rubber handle allows you to hold the knife securely with minimal effort, which improves the accuracy of the cuts, you can…

Great Hobby Knife - Stamping and Embossing

The hobby knife is a great product, it has good balance and weight, but this knife is for advanced people because you need to change the blade. It is very different from other hobby knives, if you look closely you can see a small pin stuck on the top or tip of the hobby knife. (Look at the drawing with the arrow for a better understanding.) To replace the blade, you need to unscrew the entire top. Once it's unscrewed, use your thumb and forefinger to grab the base from above, over the rubber…

Excellent hobby knife

This is a great craft and hobby knife. I make scale models of aircraft and armor and have tested just about every hobby knife on the market. This Fiskar is one of my two favorites. The die-cast metal body feels solid and heavy in the hand, not cheap and flimsy like many others. The mechanism that holds the blade is also made of die-cast metal with no rough edges. The orange rubber grip ensures a safe feeling even in sweaty hands. The blades are firmly fixed, do not hang out and do not play…
