Terrible installation instructions, so you'd better be a little quick to figure it out. I had to grind down the set screws to free up the grip seat. BUT I know this is a great switch, the finish, shape and feel are great. The corners feel good in the hand, the weight is decent. Installed on my F-350 '08.

This is the cheapest shift knob I've tried. I could feel the jagged edges of the plastic "chrome" scratching my hand. Installation wasn't too difficult, so I decided to leave it installed while I looked for an alternative. However, after a short 5 minute ride, the rattle of a cheap internal spring drove me to the point of taking it off as soon as I got home. If I had paid more for it I would have sent it back. Instead I threw it in the trash.

The hardest part of installing this non-original gear knob is removing the old one. I have a 2014 Jeep Patriot and couldn't find any instructions on how to remove the stock shift knob. Wrangler instructions do not work. In truth, you need to block and rotate the channel. I did this after removing the shift position indicator from the top and then cutting off the soft rubber.
