I have four sets of old napkins that I change depending on the season or holidays. This set is thicker than the previous sets. This set has an unpleasant odor not found in any of the previous sets. Another buyer said the smell would fade over time. I hope sooner rather than later. My old kits have a few scratches from use but other than that they look great and protect. I've tried so many mopping kits - vinyl, cotton, rattan, the list goes on. My problems with these types of materials are that either (1) there are still burn marks on my wooden table or (2) they are difficult to clean. I hesitated to buy them as they are a bit pricey.
