We ended up using them and found that a couple of the pins were bent right out of the box. It was a simple fix but still annoying. Other buyers have encountered the same problem. We also found that some of the caps detached from the needle without the need for a magnetic release piece, and indeed one of them detached from the duvet overnight. It was in a place where, if I hadn't found it, my husband would have stepped on it (pin up) walking by in the dark. Very dangerous. We'll see how the rest

This is very cool! Finally solved a stubborn problem with my dumb duvet which was crumpled and gathered unevenly despite being tied to the corners of the duvet inside!
