It feels solid and well built; next to each photo there is a place for notes; Photos are inserted back to back on each page; Collage cover is an added bonus. Such a cute little album to put anywhere and not have to be "taped around". I highly recommend this photo album! I bought this because my granddaughter wanted an album of her baby photos for Christmas (she is 6 years old). The album is of good quality, the pages are nice; Photos are easy to paste on pages and not easy to tear off. You will not confuse the cover with real leather, but real leather will be much more expensive. I will buy a second one to put on the coffee table next to her sister's album. I am so disappointed. I bought this item when I was pregnant hoping to put photos of my baby in it when the time is right and this album only allows for landscape orientation. This is annoying because the return period for this item has expired and I printed out all my photos only to find that I can't use the album. I don't know what to do because it's useless for me at the moment. Who the heck only prints landscape photos, and even worse, you can't print two portrait photos side by side…
