Photo Glue – Crafting

I love Pioneer products and this glue stick is no exception. I have used this adhesive on regular photo album paper, baby calendars (1st year) and 40 lb acid free archival photo banks and have had no problem with the photos not sticking. I prefer photo corners; For children's books or calendars, however, a glue stick would be a more suitable method of attachment in some cases. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it for a number of projects.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Crafted
Cons
  • Style 90

Love things and don't leave home without them!

This glue is a staple in my craft and I can't live without it. I'm having a hard time finding pinflair gel and a bit of that would help too. Just another clever idea. :)

Pros
  • Non-toxic and safe for children
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

the cap cannot be removed

This glue stick is completely useless for me as I can't even remove the cap. That's not me. This is a glue container. Apparently I'm not the only one having problems. Haven't tried a wrench yet because I don't have one that opens wide enough to fit the lid.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Not ideal for photos

I tried using this glue to attach photos to a mat (cardboard). The photos didn't last at all. Tried several times. So I had to use spray glue. Although the glue stick says "Photo Glue Stick" on the label, it works no better than a regular glue stick. (I am an artist.)

Pros
  • Ideal for memory books
Cons
  • Not effective
