Apparently made in Pittsburgh, China

Imagine my disappointment when this hammer came out and was made in China. The hammer is fine, turns out it can break something pretty easily. I was just hoping for Made in USA.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Meets TSA length requirements

I needed a hammer just long enough for TSA to carry it around in my luggage and I was satisfied. After all, it's a short hammer and it does its job very well.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Speed of operation

Stubby Ball Pein Hammer is great for the kitchen.

I ordered an 8 ounce Pittsburgh Stubby Ball Pein for kitchen use. After receiving it, I sterilized it with an alcohol wash. long knives when I cut melons or corn on the cob. I have found this extra help to be helpful for my weakened wrists.

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Protection

Great little hammer!

I needed a small hammer to fit in my small tool bag. Didn't want or need the regular size. Large enough to do minimal work around the camper. It was perfect for what I needed. I like that it's short so you can get into tight spaces. And the plastic handle is great! This should take forever. I just love it.

Pros
  • Shock absorbing fiberglass handle
Cons
  • When in doubt

Great little hammer.

Bought for my daughter while she was doing Lowe's Build and Grow projects. They only supply hammers with claws, which scares me a little when I see a claw approaching her face during a hammer blow. She can use her two little hands on it and it has enough weight to be very effective. I've even used it on a few projects around the house. I would recommend it for kids, projects with limited space, or even general use.

Pros
  • Soft padded non-slip rubber handle for extra comfort
Cons
  • Expensive

Pretty good little hammer

A. It was supposed to be delivered to my matching door but instead went to PO Who does not deliver. (I'm in the country. πŸ™…) And I can't drive because of my neuropathy. Finally found someone to pick it up for me. You have to blame UPS. B. Even with neuropathy, it fits my hand well. Total length - from the grip to the crown - from the base of the palm to the tips of the fingers. The length of the head is the length of my first finger. The flat striking end is about 1 inch in diameter, while the…
