Excellent product with long range but poor instructions

This remote is great value for money and works very well. I use it for astrophotography and general photography where a remote control is required. The outdoor range is very good apart from interference. I filmed the beach scene with a camera and a 400mm telephoto lens set up about 85 meters from the log we were sitting on. of the transmitter when focusing is achieved with a half press. The cable for my Canon 6D Mark II fits snugly and there are no issues. I also bought a cable for 60D. The…

Poor quality electronics, remove batteries when not in use

I've had two of these and they both had the same problem. If you leave AAA batteries in the receiver (the device connected to the camera) they will eventually run out and die. Even if you switch off the receiver, the batteries will be discharged. That doesn't happen with a broadcaster. I turn it off and leave the batteries in, and I've never changed the batteries in the transmitter. First let me say that I really like it but there is one thing that I don't like. I was fed up with the inconsistent performance of a cheap remote (less than $10), so I bought this one.
