Great Product - Memory Card Accessory

I have been using pixel card readers for my photo shop for several years. They are of excellent quality. When I bought it, I didn't pay attention to the fact that the reader does not come with a USB connector and a nozzle, that's my misfortune. I will be using it with the cable I already have but overall I would recommend their products.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Only Available in Black

Incredibly Fast!: Memory Card Accessories

This is the fastest CFast 2.0 card reader I've tested or read about. It's at least 100MB faster than my previous Lexar Professional Workflow CR1 CFast 2.0 card reader and is deployed faster and more reliably. Even cool minimalist packaging is the fastest! (I get over 528 MB/s reading as measured by the Blackmagic Speed Disk Test)

  • Confident

Instant file transfer and peace of mind

After buying the Canon Xc10 I had to buy a card reader to transfer all the files when it arrived when you hold it in your hands it feels great. It's something you can leave on your desk and look amazing, or you can throw it in your bag and travel with it knowing it's safe. For me, it was an instant connection and playback, and I transferred all the files from the wedding in a matter of seconds. Very fast card reader.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • It's ok

CFAST card reader for my Blackmagic Design Cinema Pocket 6K camera

I recently ordered a PixelFlash CFAST 2.0 card reader. I like the slim size and the minimal space the reader takes up. I am using an SP CFast card with a Blackmagic Design Cinema Pocket 6K camera. The transfer speed for these large files is great. I also bought a Pixel Flash Cfast reader and a Pixel Flash Compact Flash reader for my office and they all work well for my needs.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Compatibility

ATTENTION NOT USB-C* for computer accessories and peripherals

I am using Pixel Flash CFast 2.0 cards and they work fine with my 1DXMkii. So I ordered their card reader and although the name says USB-C it is NOT. Ignore my product photo, the device comes with a USB Type-A and USB-C to USB-C cable, they will NOT work together and I am disappointed that the correct peripherals do not match the product photo or description to match. I'm sure the reader works as well as their cards, but this purchase made me request a refund as soon as I opened the packageโ€ฆ

Card reader for investments!

I was looking at buying a CFast card reader and reading reviews. and I have to say that there can be a lot of crappy products on the market. I finally settled on the Pixel Flash CFast card reader. It's compact and ultra-thin. No cords. Can be easily packed for travel. It has "safe slots" so the card doesn't bend the pins - a big plus! I've used it several times and haven't had any problems! What I also really liked was the packaging it came in. The box has been cut and shaped around the cardโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Mandatory for cameras with CFast 2.0 cards

I recently bought a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. The camera can record to USB-C drives, SD cards and CFast 2.0 cards. After using a Samsung T5 drive, I finally decided to spend my money on a cheap (money, not quality) CFast 2.0 card. After putting this in May Revain's shopping cart, I realized I would need a decent CFast 2.0 reader for my computers. Obviously there are many different brands of card readers on the market. I chose the Pixel Flash card reader because a few years ago Iโ€ฆ

Pixelflash vs. Lexar Speedtest

I have the proven Lexar Workflow CFR1 Cfast reader and the new ultra-slim Pixelflash Cfast reader. So I tested their speed and found that the Pixelflash reader is over 100MB/s faster, which is about a 30% speed increase. This is a very noticeable time saver when I upload footage for editing, especially on multiple cards. I'm including the photos below for other techies. The ultra slim reader is very well built, you can look at the design and see how they made it so small and thin. This is muchโ€ฆ
