Take your time to set it up

I just received it today and so far I love it. I really went nuts installing it because I believed the reviews where people said they updated it and it stopped working. No panic! Just go back to your app and swipe left on the light to update or delete. Select Update and you will return to the update screen. When I tried the update for the first time, I thought the job was done and walked away from the screen, nothing else happened. I couldn't even use the touch switch on the light. You have to…

A bit pricey due to the lackluster software it uses

This is a very good LED light for planted aquariums in my very limited testing. Of course, there are no high light intensity plants in my tank, but I definitely noticed a static increase in the growth of new plants after the update. I started using a device with a timer because app developers don't allow dark periods in app lighting schedules for unknown reasons. Although the light works very well, emits very little heat, has a good waterproof case and can create artificial sunrises and…

Good features, decent lighting, should be suitable for most people

Nice, smooth, good handling. I have an aquarium with CO2 injected plants and plants in a carpet. This device replaced the 4 T5 HO device. I had to return it because my tank is 21 inches deep and the unit just wasn't producing enough light to reach the substrate. In my situation I would have to buy two of these and figure out how to hang them over the tank like the light from the previous pendant light. The total cost for two and the suspension is the same as a more expensive and powerful…

Great Aquarium Lighting Lighting

I've seen a lot of bad reviews and I understand why people who get scratched and used bulbs get upset. But I didn't notice any scratches on mine (I wasn't looking to be specific) but the light works fine for me. I don't think the plants and animals in my aquarium really care about scratches, so I think some people reacted a bit. The packaging it came in was a little wrinkled, but not much. It's just kind of out of place. Although, as far as I know, nothing was damaged. The app is very easy to…

Disappointed and returned.

I received my flashlight today and was thrilled with the light upgrade for my tank and checked out Corey's flashlight review and other reviews but the product I bought and its new should, seemed to have already been used. I bought a Fluval Plant Spectrum 3.0 24"-34" LED downlight. The lamp I received came in its original packaging, packed in a cardboard box without a seal. additional space. I plugged in the light and tested it to see if it worked, then I noticed scratches on the power button…

This lamp is worth its price.

First I want the pictures to speak for themselves. The first photo of my 29 gallons was taken on September 1st about a week before this light was installed when I was using a Kessill light. The second picture was taken on October 23, so about a month and a half later. I no longer wondered if I should rip out Vallisneria and try another plant, instead having to pull out new sprouts every week because it grows so fast that I have to keep trimming it to keep it from filling the aquarium! I also…

Lightbar troubleshooting

A lot of people have trouble with the initial setup. When you get the light, plug it in and turn it on. The button turns white. Click again and it's 24/7. The button turns green. Power off, the button turns red. After that, download the application. You need to update the firmware. Turn on Bluetooth on your device beforehand. You can connect with the light. It will most likely disconnect from Bluetooth when the update is complete. I think the automatic restart was involved, which explains it…
