NOT worth the best headphones

NOT worth Plantronics bluetooth headset for years and he loved it. Decided to replace it and it was so great but the 'refurbished' one I got didn't work, you could hear the caller but the mic 'when it worked' was so quiet that the person on the other end it couldn't hear you

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Reliable

Attention buyers - device does not work

Refurbished device does not work. The microphone didn't work. Pairing is normal and I heard the caller perfectly. They couldn't hear me. Buyer Warning. Repairs usually go well. I've never had a problem buying repair equipment. This seller does not verify that it is working properly before reselling it.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • No insurance

Seems like it would be nice if it was new.

Headphones received, seems to work. He didn't have three different sized headphones, although there were three. And there were no foam covers for the rubber nozzles that came with the kit. The audio crackles a bit which I think may be due to someone using the audio too loud, maybe the previous owner depending on how it was used in the past.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Not bad but...

How to pair your device with in-ear headphones

Liked, the only problem is that the instructions say that to pair the device you just have to turn it on and put it in HOW I DID IT UM TO GET TO PAIRING MODE THERE IS A BUTTON ON THE END OF THE MICROPHONE WHEN THE DEVICE IS ON. HOLD THIS BUTTON FOR THREE SECONDS UNTIL THE LIGHTS BLINK RED AND BLUE, ENTERING MODE.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons

Poor quality product, mic doesn't work at all

I had a Plantronics V5200 headset that I lost last week and it worked INCREDIBLY well. I ordered a repair for the exact same model and it couldn't be worse. The microphone only works when you yell into it, and then it's almost inaudible. I can't imagine who "restored" it, but they shouldn't have bothered to actually try. It was to be sold "as is". What a disappointment.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Easily repairable

5200 β€œHow to talk in a bucket”

10 year user of Plantronic Bluetooth headsets. I decided to switch to 5200. The device seemed to work fine, the sound quality is good, but the caller on the other end kept asking me if I hit the spoon. The noise cancellation didn't work and callers complained that it sounded like I had my car window down. Refurbished is a return to a new factory condition in both form and function. I can't believe Revain has such bad suppliers.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not sure

Both initial order and DOA replacement with bad mics

I had high hopes for this model but it didn't come true. Everything else worked fine in the original order, except that the listener could barely hear me. The replacement did the same, and other features didn't work either, such as B. Audio feedback when pressing the mute button or trying to adjust the volume. (You'll usually hear it when you hit the maximum volume.) Maybe it's just a badly refurbished seller. The supposed support number (EOM Sales in Houston) got disconnected and when I called

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Refurbished Not as new

This is my fifth Plantronics Voyager, the earliest was the original Voyager. The first three Voyagers, including the last Legend, did an excellent job until, like most headphones, they met an untimely end. Noise cancellation has always been best in class. My last two Voyagers, the newer 5200's, were from this supplier and have been 'Refurbished' which means they have been fully tested and look like new. I am a Cell Phone Refurbisher (on an industrial scale) and I understand how difficult it is…

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • No paint required
