The perfect base for a sculpture! Dries quickly (preferably in the sun). Easy to manipulate and there is enough plaster in the strips to sculpt a texture with just the plaster/strips. For my sculptures, I cover plaster with paper clay for more detail.

I ordered this to take a plaster cast of my 7 month pregnant belly. It arrived quickly and worked great for the project. We then painted/collaged the plaster which is now a beautiful piece of art hanging over the crib. I still have a lot of stuff left and plan to use it for fun projects when our kid is old enough. big!

If you've never worked with plaster before, I recommend you start here. There are no recipes here, just strips and hot water. Even after application, there is still a short period of time in which gluing can still take place. It dries overnight and is strong and durable - much easier than mixing it yourself!
