These are very nice earrings for my three year old. She is severely allergic to everything but gold, and although they are only plated with gold, they have not produced any allergic reactions. I am buying another pair as my daughter has already lost one. She always loses an earring so I'm glad these are good quality inexpensive earrings. Update: my daughter has had them for three years now and they still look brand new. She wears them all the time and has never taken them off.
