Description of Playmais Modeling Material Medium Pieces

German-made and 100% biodegradable, natural and safe arts and crafts material. PlayMais is made from corn starch, water and food coloring. Contains more than 300 PlayMais, instructions, sponge and some accessories. PlayMais can be re-shaped, squeezed, cut and molded into practically any shape. By simply moistening the pieces with a little bit of water they will stick to each other and to many different surfaces. Helps develop fine motor skills, encourages creative thinking and is easy and fun to play, provides hours of open-ended play.

Waste of money: Mass modeling

Do not buy. It was a HUGE waste of money. They broke up immediately. My baby couldn't play with it. It just made a huge gooey mess.

So disappointing good modeling product

I hate to give a really bad review but it was awful and starting to melt in my grandkids hands! It was a failure and I do not recommend it. The paint used is very dirty and ends up everywhere!

I like the idea more than the reality

it was ok. Pros: All natural Very light / easy to take with you when traveling Cons: Not easy to build all the creative things they represent. Not as easy to stick as claimed: disintegrates very quickly if overwatered

How easy they are to use

I like that they help to develop young children's creativity. I love making crafts with my 9 year old grandkids! Now I can use them for my 3 year old grandson! It can't always do what we do, so it's a great alternative. Now it can also be part of our activities😁

A fun, simple, easy project!

We loved them so much I saw my child's imagination stretch as they put the pieces together. It was simple, easy and clean. One catch: my dog loved them and their smell. I won't be ordering more because keeping every detail and finished project away from the dog wasn't worth it.

I was a bit disappointed with the size of the box, thinking there wasn't one.

When they first arrived I was a bit disappointed with the size of the box as I didn't think there were many items in it but I was pleasantly surprised to see there were actually tons of things were in there. Our three children have played with this box over and over again and it is still almost full. I like this toy as an alternative to plasticine, there are less sticky parts everywhere. The color doesn't stain or transfer to their skin and they love to create all kinds of creations with it.
