really fun game: standard deck

I like that this game is for a group of people. This works for playing at home with our family or with a large group of people. We played in a youth group, everyone had a lot of fun and laughed a lot.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Protection

Have fun, smart! - Standard deck of cards

This is a unique game that is great fun. You may wish to review the questions before the group as some questions may not be appropriate for certain groups. But I still really like the game. 5 Stars! Recommend.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Funny game! for playing cards

This is a great game for company, but even better for the kids! So much fun and laughter. We will play on all future holidays as everyone really enjoyed it and participated. Easy to understand and play, and exactly as described. Makes a nice gift for any family!

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Available in White Only

So Much Stupid Fun!: Card Games

This game is so silly but funny. It's similar to Apples to Apples in that one person is the 'judge' and chooses a card indicating what type of voice or accent everyone should make. The other players have several phrase cards, and when the judge gives them an accent or voice type, they choose a phrase and say it that way, and then the judge chooses who did it best. It has a lot of silly combinations and my kids love it. I also used it in my class and the students (high school) enjoyed it. You…

Definitely for ages 8+

It can be a fun game played in the same way as Apples vs Apples where players play their cards with a funny voice depending on the care chosen present. and there is a "judge" who decides who is the funniest. The winner keeps the card; wins up to 5 cards first. The downside of this game is that the arbiter knows who everyone is by reading their bids in a funny voice instead of apple to apple where the cards are sent anonymously. Maps sometimes have more adult themes so this should be a 13+ game.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Suitable for large groups

This game can be fun. Looking at the cards, it looks like he has a lot of potential. However, some maps may be out of date and delayed. I think 8 years old might be a bit young, although they might go along with it. I haven't had a chance to play yet because you need a group of at least 4 people to play. I personally think it would be more fun with a large group, say at Christmas. I think rather than having one person sit as the judge, it would be more fun to have grandparents or adults (I'm 31

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Empty

Full Disclosure: My husband and I had so much fun with the adult/blank version of Nonsense that we thought it would be just as much fun. To be honest it was a bit disappointing. Both games have a similar concept, and it's quite simple: the players have cards with sets, and each chooses the set that corresponds to the vote chosen, and the appointed judge chooses the winner. After playing a few maps, we were confused as to who this game is for. Parents planning to get drunk on wine but the kids…

Pros
  • Try for a year
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Fine. Not the best family game, maybe better for adults or theater practice

This game is simple. There are two types of cards - phrase cards and language cards. Each player is dealt 7 cards with phrases, and one person is appointed as the judge in each round. The referee draws a voice card (e.g. startled, slow motion, auctioneer, rapper) and the players read their sentence in that voice. The referee announces the winner and the game ends when someone has won 5 rounds. There's nothing special about that. It's like charades and really all you need are charade cards (or…
