You know those table ties or ruffles that wrap around the edge of a party/conference table to hide your legs or boxes underneath? is that so. The material only covers the sides of the box spring and won't stay in place unless you use T-pins around it. There is no full material to walk on the box spring part to lay flat under the mattress, so I kept pulling and pinning this ribbon-like 'skirt', taking it off and replacing it with a regular bed skirt.

I've spent a lot of time researching this style of wrap skirt. Traditional bed skirts are always so difficult to put on, especially since I have 2 large double beds. It was so easy! It took about 5 minutes to wrap it around the spring and it looks great. I was concerned the fabric would be too sheer as I use it for under bed storage but this skirt is not sheer at all. I bought another one of these a few months ago and have to say these things are too long for these beds, now I have my 1 bed on 3 inch risers, and it's still too long. I made a second purchase thinking maybe it could be better but this bed is a bit shorter on the risers but the box spring is much taller so I thought it would fit better but it doesn't. I bought a skirt for the king bed and attached it with velcro. It worked well and covered the bottom of the bed. I have twins in the guest room and bought them hoping to do the same.
