The new brand is terrible! Do not buy.

I have bought these before and loved them but my last order was from a different brand. The color of the light was different and the new bulbs were very dim. The lamps have to "warm up” before you can even see anything. I'm so mad at the last order as they are terrible quality!

The base is too big to assemble!

I can't tell you anything about the light spectrum or anything else because the base of these lamps I bought to replace some of the Phillips CFLs was hexagonal and big compared to the Phillips ones are square or smaller. The combination of the large hexagonal base did not allow it to fit into the recessed lights in my ceiling. Also, a lightbulb I took out of the box rattled inside, as sometimes happens with blown lightbulbs.

Pros
  • Very impressive

  • Negative impression

There is no trust in such a product.

Not very good quality. This is a three tube CFL lamp. Just swapped out the 2nd one and he instantly dead 2 out of 3 tubes. Not sure if the other 8 (out of 10) will work. But with the current bounce rate of 50% I am disappointed. Even the first one I replaced I'm not sure it will last long enough. I just moved into a brand new house and it had these CFL ceiling lights. In the first year I had already replaced two dead.

replacement nightmare.

This type of lamp is difficult to replace. They are held in the mount with a plastic tab, and if the tabs get stuck, it's almost impossible to remove the bulb. I pulled on that lightbulb 'til my fingers hurt, and I used every swear word I knew. Worse, the only place you can grab a lightbulb is in a glass tube! The last bulb I replaced had the glass bulb partially ripped off and I had nothing to grab hold of to pull the bulb out. I ended up having to turn off the circuit breaker and grab the…

Ideal! Exactly what I needed (check exact base, see attached photo)

I really had to look at this bulb before replacing it in my outdoor light. It is extremely unique and I have never seen a lightbulb like this in my life or seen it in stores anywhere. You can't just buy a lightbulb with such a weird base. You need to look VERY CAREFULLY at the base and where the *pins and notches* are on it. If you don't pay CAREFUL attention, you will most likely buy the wrong base and get annoyed about it. Don't blame the lightbulb, blame yourself for not putting it in…

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Damaged

Dim the lamps when you turn on the light. You can hardly see them at first. They take a considerable amount of time before they lighten. This is unacceptable and involves some risk. They just started to darken on startup after a few weeks of use. The lamps (Eiko) that came with our new home have lasted over 7 years of continuous use and many of them are still good. They never dim when you turn on the switch. This Circle brand does not have the same quality as Eiko. Also, these tubes don't feel…

Pros
  • Brings joy
