Easy. I've bought other pashmina shawls but this time it wasn't as good. IMO the pattern is hard to see, it kind of just kind of fits together. In my opinion this gives it a more tonal/monochromatic look. Poems are something of great interest in example. Might be perfect for your needs if you already wear it with a pattern. More like a summer weight movie.

So my experience seems to be the opposite of the other reviewer. The product was advertised as 55% acrylic and 45% viscose. What I received is 70% pashmina 30% silk. I'm very happy with what I got, but I wish these companies were more consistent with their products. The different colors seem to come from different areas, so some are real pashmina and others are acrylic.

I've been wearing pashmina since I got my first one for Christmas! I love all these beautiful colors and patterns and their softness, they are semi silk, they are very light and cozy in cold weather but cool in the heat. They perfectly cover the head and shoulders, so they are extremely versatile in these difficult times. Did I mention how cheap they are? Great gifts!😊

I'm pleasantly surprised by this pashmina scarf from Plum Feathers. It's lighter than I expected and has an elegant silky feel. Burgundy is gorgeous. The perfect shade that goes with everything in my wardrobe. Looks great, feels good, nice and long. However, the product listings state that it is 70% pashmina and 30% silk. You can tell from the label that it's 50% acrylic and 50% viscose. This worries me as this fabric is made in the same way as viscose and both processes use chemicals known to cause cancer. These chemicals tend to linger in clothing.
