But they are still good instruments, comparable in quality to their predecessors, and have the traditional lead head filled with epoxy.

I had the same ball stud hammer 30 or 40 years old. I was so pleased with the quality of this brand that I ordered online to get the Plumb stamp (which I couldn't find locally). The quality of the goods is beyond doubt. Only criticism is that it is made in China. I naively expected or hoped that this heritage product would be made in America with a long standing brand.
