This projector lamp is a complete waste of money. It barely illuminated my presentation hall and the colors were off, leaving my presentation dull and plain. The only positive aspect is that it fit into my projector - but who cares? It's computers we're dealing with; functionality should be expected at a minimum. Save your money and invest in a better product.

The lamp I ordered also appeared to be in good working order, however upon installation I found that the lamp was already in a "needs to be replaced" condition. Also make sure I ordered the correct bulb and reset the thermal protector, nothing worked. I even went so far as to put my old lightbulb back in, knowing it would burn out soon, and it worked! Not sure if it was slightly damaged in transit but I won't be returning the bulb, it seems fine, I honestly can't be sure what's wrong with it.

The product was purchased on 06/20/2019. It was published on 06/03/2020. We didn't use the projector that much, definitely less than 10 hours a week. For comparison, the projector was only installed in 2009, so the original bulb lasted almost 10 years. While replacing the bulb was inexpensive, we were surprised that the bulb could last so short.
