Impressive monobloc flash

I like this flash. I have two and can use them with the new Godox AD-B2. This little flash is really fast and powerful and has an amazing battery life.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

If you have Godox transmitters, this is your next step.

First of all the battery. No AA batteries. If you've got an Alien Bee or other single-socket flush, a fully charged Wireless AD200 will deliver hundreds of flashes. I had a shoot where I took 300 shots and the AD200 was down to just under 50% battery at the end of the night. I will be buying another one very soon.

Cons

Really good flash!

To all Olympus Micro 4/3, EM5 mk2 owners, this is a great flash to use when you need power to hit the dirt and not the usual flash. In fact, I use the Goodix X1 transmitter on my camera to wirelessly control all my Godox flashes in TTL mode! The AD200 is rated at 200 watts/s, while most flashes are only rated at 75. I use it to shoot through a white diffuser screen. Much luck!

  • Great price

i love this light Suitable for lighting and studio

I like this light. I actually have 2 now and they have changed my job so much. Whether they're adding natural light or using them in the studio, they're SUPER versatile and easy to use. The cost gives me peace of mind when I need to get more or buy replacement bulbs or batteries. Robust construction, simple operation. I highly recommend getting a Godox transmitter as well. SO easy to use and so convenient that no manual configuration is required

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Great addition to my bag

I've seen some good reviews. So I dared. The flash is great and very strong. Although I was nervous about the branded battery, it works very well. To feel better I bought a backup battery. I have to take him on the road this week. I expect you to buy a second one as a backup soon. Heads change quickly. Couldn't run it fast enough to overheat - which is a really good thing. Well worth the money with two flashes and a handy protective case.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in black

Do you get what you pay for?

3.5 stars if I could do 1/4. I like many of the features of these flashes, especially the ability to control them from the camera. However, misfires are common. These flashes tend to increase desired power no matter what the indicator says. For example, I often set the bottom value to 1/16 and get 1/1. I'll even try 1/64 and it's the same; 1/1 This occurs regardless of whether the battery is fully charged or nearing the end of its charge. Another annoying feature is that the flashes go into…
