📱 Poetic Explorer Case for iPad 10.2 (2021/2020/2019) - Full Body Rugged Folio Cover with Built-in Screen Protector and Pencil Holder - Navy Blue Review

I was looking for a reasonably rugged, screen-protected case for my iPad 7th Gen and found this case. Works well, works well for desktop viewing, provides access to iPad ports and switches, and feels stiff. I'm sure I won't throw it out the window or do other extreme things, but I can put it in my bag or backpack on my bike and feel safe from accidents while riding. I like the protective plate over the screen, as well as the corner bumpers. Basically I'm satisfied so far.

Bought for my new iPad. We've had two better rated branded iPad cases in the past with a much higher price tag. I like it much better than everyone else. I was impressed with the rubber cover that really grips the iPad when used as an easel. This allows for literally any positioning you want. For the price I couldn't beat it. In fact, regardless of the price, this is the best I've bought.

Bought for my teenage grandson for his new iPad. The cover has nice features, including a screen protector, and appears to be good value for the money. I gave it to him and figured that by the time he was 17, he'd be able to do the cover himself. When trying to separate the protective film from the bottom of the lid the 2 pieces snapped together, he somehow pierced the plastic film with his thumb. It's thin and brittle. I like the fit for the Ipad. The case is sturdy and protective. I sit on different surfaces, walk around the house and the body material doesn't slip. The only thing I don't like is the tab that covers the case. When closed, a magnet holds the tab to the case and locks the lid. When I hold the case to read e-books (portrait) the case folds up awkwardly and the tab dangles and touches my hand. It annoys me enough to try to fix it every time I fix my hand. My first impression was that it is well made and protects the iPad well enough, the second impression was that it is bulky and heavy and the case is a bit uncomfortable when flipped back is worked. doesn't stick to itself so it kind of flops. Other than that, it's not the best for holding an iPad, but if you intend to use this case elevated, the case works great. No doubt I'll get used to it and it will work fine.

Update: this case WON'T stop sliding and it's driving me crazy so I'll be sending it back. This case is essential and seems to offer good protection for my new iPad 8. The only thing that drove me crazy was the plastic screen protector - it created iridescent distortions all over the screen. I would remove the protective film, put it back in the case and fix it - not for long. This case is stylish, well made like honeycomb design, good materials, comfortable touch, secure tight fitting and the built-in screen protector is well designed and fits perfectly. So far this has been perfect for a kid's iPad. Purchased for a new model with a screen of 10.2 inches. Very satisfied, especially for the price. In my opinion, the only things that could improve it are a few better durable options and the ability to remove the built-in screen protector so you can just use your own.
