Great product for easy replacement.

We bought parts separately before finding these. I ended up sending the individual pieces back as it was very difficult to plug in and unplug. This combo part made the job go faster!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Excellent product - chassis

I have used these axles several times on different quads and have never had a problem. The boots feel thicker than others and seem to be holding up well. The bearings are well made, I haven't had a failure yet.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I will say nothing

Fast service Axis

It came on time. Haven't installed it yet but the quality of the upper and shoes looks good. (Fitted on a 2005 Sportsman 400, replacing the original shoes that eventually gave up. Buying the entire upper assembly is only $1 more than buying just 2 inner and outer shoes!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • There are defects

Bad shoes for this thing!

If you're happy to spend money and change your CV boots after a few days, buy this axle. The CV inner boot is too small for the axle. It expands just sitting there. Yes, I bought the correct axle and yes, the car is completely stock. I expect this boot will fail immediately given how it's sitting there right now.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • No instructions

Very strong and reliable axle with easy installation.

For a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 400 this axle is easy to install. Installing this axle requires some mechanical skill, but requires only moderate skill. I rode the ATV through some of the worst, wettest, roughest terrain I could find. The axis has never caused any problems.

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • Without automatic transmission

doesn't last, 3 months after the guarantee both are broken.

I installed it last summer, used the bike as a spare tire through the summer and fall and have ridden it maybe 300 miles since then. just swapped out and found one was damp and all boots were cracked from the weather. I took it to the trailer and back to the garage to install the battery and they all ripped apart. There is no elevator. not even dirt. I only drive on dirt roads. I won't even ask for a guarantee because I'll never put any work into it again. I have 4 athletes.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Fine for the most part, but...
