These sunglasses are very light and because they are attached with a temple rather than the Dewayne Wayne style I don't have to pick my glasses up all the time. My last pair was spring loaded, flipped on the sides, so it's twice the weight. I have black ones and they are nice and dark. The first pair of clamps is usually difficult and poorly made. They're easy to put on, stay in place and the shade is perfect for the beach! Well made and great value for money. We could buy a second pair. Then I bought a second pair but with new slippers. I thought the new flip up was the same size but it isn't. Great idea but bad design. My prescription lenses are curved, these clips are flat. Flat clip-ons sit on a curved lens and constantly rub against each other, hence the scratches on prescription lenses and clips. The dark road/driving color is too dark even in the sun.
