Deviate by 30° +/- . See image.

Not accurate at all. In boiling water at 212°F the difference is 30°. I even waited for it to stir in boiling water for 10 minutes. Attention buyers. For reference, the boiling point at my altitude in the mountains should be 209.3°F. My Thermapro read 208.4°F.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Can hurt

Deviation more than 20 degrees.

This thermometer was recommended to me as very good. After calibration to our height, the deviation was more than 20 degrees. Not very happy with the accuracy of the new thermometer. I will continue to work with one that is only a few degrees different from what I already have. Was hoping this one would be accurate.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Excellent thermometer

I've never had a polder. I'm glad I bought this one. The numbers on the dial are clear, crisp and easy to read. These are black numbers on a white dial. The sweep indicator is red. That's right, reads 212 degrees Fahrenheit in boiling water. The adjustable clip is a handy feature. It's slightly offset so you can attach the thermometer to the side of a pot or pan so it can read the temperature of the liquid without touching the bottom or walls.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • embarrassed
