Great when they worked but one broke after a few months and started scratching. FYI: We do NOT listen to insanely loud movies and music. We have a Yamaha 7 channel receiver that is 110 watts and we never got it above -40.0 which is just under half the range. I installed two pairs of these speakers on the sides and back to complement the front and center in-wall Polk LS Series in a 7.1 configuration in our house supplement theater. The sound is close enough that I can't tell them apart as surround sound from large spend LS speakers for surround sound. They just mix. Since Polk tends to hit its speakers from the bright side, I decided to match them as surround using B&W CM4 front towers and a 5.1 center CM-C in another room. It worked even better…

Installed these speakers for surround sound in my media room and they are AWESOME. It's rare that a speaker set built into a wall or ceiling is installed without noticing the presence of a subwoofer in the room. At this point in my room I have not installed any fronts, centers or subwoofers. So I connected these speakers separately and then connected them to the surround back speakers (Polk RC80i) as well.
