Great Lync conference phone

A definite improvement over trying to use a desk phone as a conference room phone, mainly due to the omnidirectional microphones.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great sound and great software.

Really good conference room phone with great sound. Sometimes stops working with Lync for no apparent reason, but overall a good device. The setup is a bit tricky.

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Some cons

I can't update the software on it

The software version on it is older than version 4.0.7577.4463 and is not compatible with SKYPE. We can't update it or even bring it online because of this problem; he doesn't even answer.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

old company Not compatible with Skype for Business Online

The phone comes with older firmware that doesn't allow you to connect to Office365 (hosted by Skype for Business). The firmware update requires finding another environment (e.g. Lync 2013, S4B local) to perform the update, which is pretty ridiculous (source: [.]

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Quality

Honest Seller: Office Electronics

The first one shipped was with a dead port (it was new - not seller's fault). The seller sent a replacement before getting the old one back. The second worked perfectly. However, note that in order to use this device, you must have a separate third-party account to allow phone calls through O365. It's not cheap.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Something else

Old obsolete products with old firmware that are not updated.

Product was manufactured in 2012 and is out of warranty. Also, the firmware is so outdated that it cannot connect to Office 365 and update automatically. Microsoft and Polycom are currently unable to update the firmware, resulting in a significant installation delay.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The function of the conference phone itself is very good. Big volume. The login time is not that good. We run Lync 2013 at home in a relatively small, flat network environment. For some reason we couldn't find that it takes 3-4 minutes to log into the phone. We have another conference phone and it connects in less than 1 minute. So our network layout doesn't seem to be the problem. The phone is completely repaired. The phone works great, just pay attention to the sign-up process.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
