I was really surprised how much I liked this jacket. It feels heavy, is well made and keeps me warm. I really liked the drawstring for the detachable hood. I wanted a pet free jacket so I tried this one and I'm glad I did. Fits as expected, but if you plan on wearing very bulky sweaters underneath you might want to go up a size. It was long enough to cover most of my thighs. The only thing I would wish for is an inner lining for extra warmth and comfort.

As my size is between a 6 and 8 I prefer a medium size just in case. This coat is warm and cozy, but a tad big! I would say the medium size is more like the large size you find at Target or Macy's. So if you want a very snug fit, take one size smaller than you normally wear.
