I actually bought this a few years ago. Since then I've only used it a few times in home projects. The thread is thin and leaves a lot of lint in the machine. The thread often comes off the spool and snaps every time I try to hand sew with it. I am planning to switch to another brand.

I bought it for a friend. I bought 2 sets. She loved them but when she laid them all out there were color differences between the two sets. The 1000 yard spool will work for most projects, but if you run out and order another set the color may not match. Simple and FYI!

To be honest I bought this because I thought it would look great on my new yarn stand. It was also a hell of a deal given the variety of colors and the fact that it's basically 3000 miles of thread. The colors are beautiful and it's pretty easy to sew with - very few fraying issues and won't stick to my machine. The only downside is that it's not very strong. As such, it's great for hemming and light stitching, but isn't ideal for anything that requires a strong, durable stitch. Good price.

They don't have very good tensile strength. The machine clicks them every time regardless of the tension setting. Also for any sewing projects that require heavy tension. I tried to decorate a hat with it and every time the thread broke - even in two or three turns. I've had better luck with cotton yarn. The yarn is also slightly fluffy, so she leaves that fluff in the machine. However, they get 3 stars because the colors are great and they can be used for hand embroidery on cotton. I use them…
