I was afraid to get them as I'm sensitive to many metals including silver and gold but they didn't bother me at all. I have no idea what metal the hooks are made of, but I've worn them for 8 straight hours and no reaction. I like that they are light weight but not so light that I lose one of them without realizing it. I also have the same necklace, perfect!
