Pond's Cold Cream Makeup Remover, 9.5 oz, Pack of 3 Review

I've been a die-hard user of Pond's Cold Cream since I was a child and was a Revain 3-pack subscription for a while. Unfortunately, the package received recently was NOT normal. It was like a cross between Noxzema and Pond's and we'll be back. Have been using this for years. Removes makeup (even waterproof) the best I've ever tried! Plus it lasts a while so you really get bang for your buck. Also, I'm severely allergic to many ingredients in skin care products and this was on my safe list (thank goodness!).

First, the aroma almost blew me away. Not that it smelled bad, but 20 octaves ago it would have smelled good too. The whole family will know you're using it. It probably smells like roses. Strong. Unfortunately, although I enjoyed the strong scent, it was like rubbing oil on my face. It's thick, oily, and water won't wash it off. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Clean It Zero that was smooth, silky and easy to rinse off. I apply sunscreen daily so I need something to remove most of it

I've been using this cold makeup remover for years. Every time I decide to try something new, I keep coming back to it. Gentle enough to use around the eyes but powerful enough to dissolve long-wearing mascara and waterproof eyeliner.

I have been using Pond makeup remover for many years. A cucumber with a blue-green lid was depicted on the jar. Great stuff but not available anywhere else. Revain's suggested replacement is a cold cream with a green cap. It's so fat and disgusting. Like having axle grease smeared on my face. I'm 57 years old and my whole chin is covered in pimples from only using this thing for a week or two. I'm not sure if I can get it back now. If not, then to the trash.

Ponds Cold Cream is a staple for me and my two daughters. My mother and grandmother used them. It's simply THE BEST. I know there are more expensive products out there, but constant use has completely transformed my skin. At 71, I'm surviving my early 60's and it's thanks to this product. Long live the ponds!

This is real cold cream, not something I bought just a few months ago. I still have some good old makeup removers and they are completely different products. What could you go wrong with this product? Or any Pond product. They've been around since 1846, so that's 174 years of amazing products. I use their Cold Cream, Dry Skin Cream and their Rejuvenation Cream. All of them are amazing products. I'll stick with the 1950s facial. It works for me and I find less is more. I have very sensitive skin that dries incredibly quickly. My wipes were enemy #1 so I needed a replacement. I didn't think this product would work so well, but I was willing to try it.
