Used on U-joints suitable for hand tools

I used this on my tractor to remove the U-joints on the shaft/gearbox connection. Allows the joint to be pushed all the way down.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Nothing grabs like a pony

Nothing grabs like a pony! But seriously, for the price they are very good. They were a little chipped due to poor packaging but I wasn't overly concerned it's a clip.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

The "screw/shaft " arrived bent.

"Screw/shaft" arrived bent. This is not a reliable article. Don't waste your time and money on this. This is the lowest price so you get what you pay for. It's not worth it!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin

Superb C-Clip

Very well made and works great. Absolutely beautiful color! The color alone makes you want more. The orange color is very visible to people like me who need an eye in their hands to see where I put the tool. Buy today!

Pros
  • 1200lb. Load Limit
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

The clamp was turned wrong!

What the heck! When I first used this clip, I noticed that the part I was trying to glue was moving out of the way. When I took everything apart it became apparent that the hard side of the yoke was machined at an angle - the only thing the yoke should have is straight, and it is NOT. I missed the return window so apparently this paperweight is mine. Such an incident is enough for me to say that I no longer buy ponies.

Pros
  • Neck depth 4 inches
Cons
  • I'll write later

So where are they made?

Received two of these clamps yesterday. During the ordering process I was pleased to read that they are made from parts imported from the US and overseas but assembled in Chicago. Relax. But the ones I received yesterday clearly state on the box/label that they are made in China. I know a lot of things are made in China these days (obviously an American couldn't make a clip like that), but if something claims to be made in Chicago, don't expect the product to say it was made. in China (Is there

Pros
  • Ideal for most DIY, woodworking and household clamp jobs
Cons
  • Quick instructions
