Poo-Pourri Grapefruit, Lychee, and Vanilla Home~Pourri: Air + Fabric Multi-Purpose Odor Eliminator - 11 Fl Oz Review

This is the third scent of this air freshener that I have tried and although I love them all this is my favourite. Grapefruit is a really fresh scent. And it really masks odors. My dog pooped on the carpet in my living room and stank through half the house. It still smelled like it was cleaned so I sprayed it up in the air and on the carpet. The stench is completely gone, leaving only a pleasant fresh smell. It is not a sweet or chemical smell. I really love this stuff.

I love poo-pourri for the toilet and thought I would too but the scent doesn't last more than 2-3 minutes. But I'm not sure if the goal is to create a lasting scent, but rather to get rid of the stinky smell. I will say it worked on my mom's car seats - she smokes in her car and it helped a little to get rid of the smoke smell in the car. I think grapefruit is my favorite scent! So finding it in a room freshener was a real thrill! Smells like heaven to me! Lychee and vanilla are nice too, but not only do I not smell them when I spray. Maybe for other people these added flavors mitigate the citrus smell, I don't know. My only complaint is that unlike other room sprays, this one doesn't seem to linger in the air for as long. This is an excellent air/fabric spray deodorant. It combats my dogs odor without overwhelming or giving my migraine prone husband a headache. I ordered the grapefruit lychees which is a bit odd - not bad but not as lemony as I was expecting. However, it smells clean and is much preferable to the smell of a dog. I need a room spray to eliminate the smell in the air where I put my baby's diaper pail.
