An easy way to repair holes in your car body.

This material is easy to work with. Simply cut equal amounts from both rolls, then mix together like playdough (wear gloves!). Then slide it in place. Use some water on your fingertips to smooth it out. Much easier to work with than Bondo IMHO.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • High price

Works well - car detailing

Used this to touch up some rust that had formed behind the rear wheel of my Land Cruiser. Patching/reinforcing the metal in this area worked great and I haven't seen any problems with rusting back. Water smoothing (wearing latex gloves) worked well to achieve a result that required minimal sanding to look great.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Style 90

Repaired cracks in Andersen vinyl siding

Used it to repair cracks in Andersen vinyl patio doors. Adheres well to vinyl and dries like steel. Slightly sanded. Great, great product. Note: Even in warm weather it is very thick and difficult to apply in thin coats, but sands well to desired thickness. It's also easy to paint.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • I don't really have bad feelings about this, everything is fine

This epoxy is great

Forms well, dries well and can be tapped. Use a small bowl of water to keep your fingers wet as you shape into the filling area. With this material I repaired the front fender of the Impala 65 with roaches. It was meant to be a temporary job while the owner went looking for the grand piano. Now he doesn't look. The top is filled with Evercoat. Sanded as needed, primed, and it's solid. Will I buy again? Absolutely!

Professional product

Want a nice fountain pen that's easy to make? That's it! It is like plasticine and can only be smoothed out with wet fingers. When it hardens (about an hour depending on the temperature) it's good. A day later it's amazing. Por15 has great products and they work great. I don't get paid to say that either. Want to do some bodywork and get a few rust spots? Get a Por15 kit, are there holes? A little Por15 epoxy will do the trick.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Steering Wheel Overhaul

I purchased this product to overhaul a steering wheel on a 49 Ford. Turns out that after it dried and I started sanding it, I found a lot of holes. So the holes had to be filled in and additional sanding revealed more pinholes. This product may not be what I need for this job. I used it in another application and it worked great where extreme detail wasn't a problem. Good quality.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Protection

Great. - Car care

I had a pretty big hole under my truck's wiper hood. I took the time to remove and sand down the fender. After researching this, I went into it. It has the same basic consistency as other epoxy sticks. The excellent adhesion, workability and final cure were impressive. I used some release paper and water to shape it, it worked flawlessly. And as I write this: Mother Nature has poured out cats and dogs, it's raining iguanas and I'll let you know if there's H2O in the truck tomorrow. It's a…
